Elliot is a project of bedroom produced earworms that are not conventionally pop. The sound is distinctly lo-fi and the songwriting style resembles art rock. The writing ironizes and dissects music, but also shows great affection for the form. The music is influenced by the Los Angeles experimental pop scene including artists Ariel Pink, John Maus, R. Stevie Moore, Jorge Elbrecht, Geneva Jacuzzi and Nite Jewel.

In 2017 the EP Jazz For Your Dad was released on the label Icons Creating Evil Art. In before releasing the debut album Fast Food Musik, two singles were released: Am I In Love Or Just Hungry and Trade Burgers 4 Love.
